La Chouette Grange depot vente

After several years going round the world, I decided to stay home and look after my two boys.I always loved antics (china, old clothes, furniture etc...)

In 2006, we bought an old farm with lots of space. In one of the barn, I choose to open a second hand shop. I started with a table and a few things to sale I had threw the years. Slowly, people came with different object like tables, chairs, pictures,dolls etc... they indicate their selling price and I then sell their objects with a 30% commission fee.

I call the barn Chouette Grange, which is a play on the French words Chouette=Owl and Chouette=Pretty, because when we first visited barn, a white owl flew out of the building and brushed past me. Since then I often see the barn in the owl and he keeps constant company with me.

Après plusieurs années dans le tourisme, Nous avons décidé de nous
installer dans un charmant petit village de Bourgogne.

J'ai choisi de rester à la maison et de m occuper de mes deux fils. J'ai toujours aimé chiner, trouver le moulin à café, la vieille cocotte en fonte ou une redingote tous ces objets que j'ai pu voir chez mes grands parents. En 2006, nous achetons un ancien corps de ferme dans le canton d'Arnay le Duc. Les enfants ont grandis! Il est difficile après tant d années, de retrouver un emploi. Je décide alors d utiliser une des granges comme dépôt-vente.

J'ai démarré avec une planche, deux tréteaux et quelques objets personnels dont je voulais me débarrasser. De la publicité, du temps, et la confiance de tous a fait que deux ans après, je ne sais où mettre la marchandise.

Les gens déposent vaisselle, vieux papiers, bibelots, meubles, tondeuses, luminaires, vêtements anciens etc...
